BMC Women's Health is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that considers articles on all aspects of the health and wellbeing of adolescent girls and women, with a particular focus on the physical, mental, and emotional health of women in developed and developing nations. The journal welcomes submissions on women's public health issues, health behaviours, breast cancer, gynecological diseases, mental health and health promotion.
When the Supreme Court handed down the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion the self help group of mothers, housewives, clerical workers and activists started a clinic, hired doctors to perform the abortions, created woman-centered abortion care, and developed and promoted safer medical techniques that have raised the standard of abortion care nationally.
The physicians of Seven Hills Women’s Health Centers are the leaders in women’s health care in Cincinnati. We believe that women’s health care must incorporate new technologies and science, but must be compassionate and sensitive to every woman as an individual. We have designed a system of care that focuses on each woman’s uniqueness as she transitions from adolescence to menopause.
Postmenopausal bleeding is caused by endometrial cancer only 9% of the time, but 91% of women with endometrial cancer have postmenopausal bleeding. For this reason, it’s always important that women have any unusual or postmenopausal bleeding checked by a doctor to rule out endometrial cancer. An ultrasound and biopsy are typically recommended to determine what is causing the bleeding. (Locked) More »

I joined the staff here at Results Fitness in May 2018 after coming in for a Monthly Challenge.  I was so comfortable here and I literally fell in love with every aspect of this amazing gym and the people here.  I wanted to be a part of it immediately. I desperately needed fitness for myself and am very fortunate to have begun this career in the fitness industry at this “late” stage in my life.  This is a new chapter, and I plan to make it the best. Hopefully, others will be inspired by my choices.
The journey to motherhood can be one of the most wonderful times in a woman’s life. It can also be a time filled with uncomfortable questions and concerns (why is your belly button doing that?!). From conception to birth plans, prenatal screenings to postpartum visits and midwives to physicians—we’re passionate about finding the path that’s right for you.

Amenities also include private locker room facilities with dry saunas and onsite childcare.

Women’s Health Concern is greatly indebted to the late Miss Elizabeth Stalley whose generous bequest made possible the complete re-design and revision of this charity website in December 2007.Since then several benefactors, some preferring to be anonymous, have made donations. These are enabling us to continue to enhance the website and to provide funding towards our key outreach objectives. The trustees of the British Menopause Society and Women’s Health Concern thank you all, especially those who have supported us having suffered loss of close family.
Entertaining and spending time with my crazy husband, insane family and amazing friends mean everything to me!  The more the merrier! I am inspired in my fitness journey by my youngest son. At age 18, he moved to California, planted a church, went to college and lost over 100 pounds.  Two years later, he ran the San Francisco Marathon and is currently training for the Seattle Marathon. I don’t see a marathon in my future, but I am learning to never say never!
